What is the Equine Total Care program?
Equine Total Care is a comprehensive wellness program designed to cater to the specific health needs of each horse, providing tailored veterinary services and support.
What are medical reminders?
Scheduled notifications to remind you of upcoming rechecks and more.
How much is the cost?
$75 per horse per month. 1 year subscription term.
Who do I pay?
Your paid subscription is with Sporthorse.
Can I cancel?
Cancellations are allowed only upon the death of the horse, or in certain circumstances which Sporthorse management determines legit.
Can I transfer my subscription to another horse?
Yes, subscription transfers are possible and evaluated on a case-by-case basis to ensure continuity of care.
What qualifies for a free farm call?
First, all Free Farm calls must be within a 30-minute drive time from the clinic and are only available during regular business hours. ETC Spring and Fall vaccinations receive Free Farm calls. All Veterinary Examinations for a specific condition qualify. Euthanasia of enrolled horses qualify for Free Farm calls.
What if I am more than 30 minutes away?
Horses residing 30 minutes – 1 hr drive from Performance Equine Vets receive one (1) free SPRING (or Fall) farm call. for wellness services to include vaccinations, coggins, bloodwork & rabies.
Do emergencies qualify for free farm calls?
Yes. Must be during normal business hours (9am-5pm Monday – Friday) and within 30 minutes from the clinic. Farm Call and Emergency Fees apply to all services performed after hours.

Can I add additional Veterinary services during the ETC appointment?
Yes! Pending time availability.
Can I add additional services for a non ETC horse, during an ETC Free Farm call?
Yes! Pending time availability.
How does billing work for veterinary services?
Performance Equine Vets will issue detailed invoices for all services. Any services covered by Equine Total Care will be marked as paid on your invoice.
What vaccines are included in the program?
The program includes vaccines for Rabies, Eastern/Western Encephalitis, Tetanus, Influenza/Rhinopneumonitis, and West Nile Virus.
What blood tests are included?
CBC, Chem, Fecal, and eActh for horses over 13. Coggins once yearly. All performed during the SPRING vaccination appt.
Can I have additional blood tests run?
Yes. Billed at normal rates.
Are there any discounts for senior horses?
Yes, members receive an additional 5% discount on all products in the Senior Collection of the Vet Supply for geriatric horses.
What are Online Veterinary Consults?
30 minute zoom call with a vet to discuss a specific condition for a horse currently enrolled.
How do I book a consultation?
Complete a Virtual Workup first, then book your appointment.
What is a Virtual Workup?
A Virtual Workup involves an online history and examination of a specific condition, which is a prerequisite for booking a consultation.
