$0 Farm Calls

Say goodbye to expensive farm call fees forever with Equine Total Care. While traditional veterinary visits typically cost $50-100 per farm call, ETC members pay nothing for qualifying visits within 30 minutes of our clinic during business hours. You’ll enjoy unlimited covered farm calls for routine wellness care, emergency visits during business hours, and your horse’s onboarding exam. 

Even if your farm is located 30 minutes to 1 hour away, you’ll receive one complimentary wellness farm call each spring or fall that covers all routine services in a single visit. Emergency farm calls during regular business hours are included at no additional cost for enrolled horses.

Vaccinations

Your horse receives complete protection with all core vaccines included in your ETC membership: Rabies, Eastern and Western Encephalitis, Tetanus, Influenza/Rhinopneumonitis, and West Nile Virus. 

With our automated system, you’ll never worry about missing vaccination deadlines again – we guarantee your horse stays current on all essential immunizations.

Bloodwork and Coggins

Your horse receives comprehensive health monitoring with Complete Blood Count (CBC) and chemistry panels performed once yearly to monitor organ function and detect early health changes. The annual Coggins test for Equine Infectious Anemia, required for travel and competition, is handled seamlessly as part of your program. Horses over 13 years old receive additional eACTH testing to screen for Cushing’s disease and other age-related conditions. This consistent testing creates valuable health baselines for future medical decisions and early disease detection, with automatic results delivery and explanation. Our team is always available to discuss any concerns or recommendations that arise from your horse’s test results.

Fecals and Dewormers

ETC takes a strategic, science-based approach to parasite control with fecal egg count testing that determines your horse’s actual parasite load, allowing for targeted treatment instead of routine chemical deworming. Based on individual results, seasonal factors, and your horse’s specific risk profile, our veterinarians create customized deworming plans that include all necessary deworming medications per AAEP guidelines. This evidence-based protocol helps prevent parasite resistance while maintaining your horse’s health effectively.

Dental Float

Each horse actively enrolled in ETC is eligible for one routine dental float during a consecutive 12-month period. This benefit is assigned to the individual enrolled horse and cannot be transferred to another horse or used with a provider outside the ETC preferred provider network.

Routine dental floats must be completed by Reed Equine Dental or Palmetto Equine Dental Group. Appointments with Reed Equine Dental may be scheduled through Performance Equine Vets. To schedule with Palmetto Dental Group, call (803) 634-3236 and mention that your horse is enrolled in ETC. Services beyond a routine dental float are not included in this benefit and are the client’s financial responsibility.

Perfect for quick questions, follow-up discussions, minor concerns, or when you’re unsure if a farm visit is necessary, online consultations provide timely expert advice when you need it most. This service reduces anxiety and helps you make informed decisions about your horse’s care. Wellness Reminders

Stay ahead of your horse’s health needs with our automated personalized alerts system that sends customized reminders to both you and our ETC team to ensure no wellness care is missed. This proactive health management approach provides timely notifications for vaccines, bloodwork, and other routine care, creating a stress-free scheduling experience where you never worry about remembering when services are due. Our system tracks everything automatically with reminders tailored to your horse’s specific needs, age, and health requirements, delivered through your preferred communication method via multi-channel communication to ensure you never miss important updates.

Concierge Services

Your dedicated personal support team handles all scheduling, reminders, and coordination of your horse’s wellness care, providing professional appointment coordination 2-4 weeks in advance with confirmation reminders and flexible rescheduling options. Our concierge services include multi-horse management to coordinate care for multiple horses, minimizing farm visits and maximizing efficiency. You’ll receive personalized communication with responsive, friendly service that treats you and your horse as individuals, not just account numbers. This stress-free healthcare management allows you to focus on enjoying your horse while knowing their health is professionally managed.
